Playing the piano is one of my greatest passions. I have been immensely inspired by some of the Golden Age pianists. Here is another website I have dedicated to piano.
Frank F. studied piano privately under the guidance of Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich, a renowned Russian-born concert pianist and esteemed piano teacher based in Chicago who studied with the famous Tatiana Nikolayeva in Moscow, and was the protégé student of the great Rosina Lhevinne at Julliard. Due to her rich performance and teaching experiences, Dr. Lipmanovich has greatly influenced Frank's musical development, imparting the deep history of the Russian Piano School through her wealth of experience. In July 2023, he made his debut at the InterHarmony Music Festival, participating in masterclasses with Daniel Lessner and Joanna Ting. Since then, Frank has performed numerous recitals, featuring works by celebrated composers such as Chopin and Scriabin. In 2024, Frank graduated with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. Beyond his performance career, Frank has a strong passion for piano pedagogy. He has written insightful articles on Medium, including detailed discussions on Heinrich Neuhaus's method of piano, alongside other pedagogical pieces focused on enhancing piano technique, distilling the most essential information from books such as Josef Lhevinne’s introduction Basic Principles in Pianoforte Playing, Josef Hofmann’s Piano Playing With Piano Questions Answered. His dedication to teaching is reflected in the glowing testimonials from his students, who commend his ability to inspire and refine their musical abilities.
